Max Chauvin, in the 1980s earned a degree in physical chemistry and was able to derive the Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle. Quickly discovering that no one really cared, and that he liked people more than computers and test tubes, Max began his 30-year career strengthening his community and assisting others.
Since 2002, Max Chauvin has helped Community Boards of Directors focus, achieve extraordinary success, and transform their communities. He has been honoured twice by Her Royal Majesty Queen Elizabeth the Second for community leadership and volunteerism.
As one of the authors of the Shared Strategy for Recreation in Nova Scotia, Max Chauvin understands the power of partnerships and loves to share how they are the key to large scale system’s change and long-term community development.
Though his work Max helps organizations transform their volunteer recruitment and management processes, create highly effective Boards of Directors, and develop long-term strategies for success. Max’s workshops have been described as funny, full of energy, challenging, thought provoking, and packed with practical information.
